The most recognizable feature of the Tesla Cybertruck is its exterior design.
Its body uses extremely sharp lines, flat surfaces, geometric wheel arches, and a distinctive stainless-steel finish. Unlike most modern vehicles, the Cybertruck does not rely on traditional painted body panels to create its appearance. Powerful Electric Performance
The Cybertruck is not simply designed to look futuristic. Its electric powertrain gives it impressive acceleration and substantial performance.
At the top of the range is the Cyberbeast, which produces up to 845 horsepower according to Teslas current specifications. Tesla estimates a 0–60 mph time of just 2.6 seconds, making the Cybertruck exceptionally quick for a vehicle of its size and weight.
The Cyberbeast can reach a top speed of approximately 130 mph, while all-wheel drive provides additional traction when accelerating or driving on challenging surfaces.
Even the less extreme versions of the Cybertruck deliver strong performance. Tesla currently lists a Premium All-Wheel Drive version with an estimated 0–60 mph time of 4.1 seconds.
This combination of instant electric torque and all-wheel drive gives the Cybertruck a completely different driving character from traditional gasoline-powered pickups.

Range and Charging
Range is one of the most important considerations for any electric truck, particularly because pickups are often used for long-distance travel and towing.
Tesla currently lists an EPA-estimated range of up to 325 miles for certain Cybertruck configurations. Actual range can vary depending on the version, wheel and tire configuration, driving conditions, temperature, speed, payload, and towing.
The Cybertruck also supports Teslas Supercharger network. Tesla lists charging capability of up to 325 kW and says certain configurations can add roughly 132–137 miles of range in 15 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
For long-distance travel, this charging capability can significantly reduce the time spent at charging stations.

Serious Towing and Hauling Capability
One of the biggest challenges for an electric pickup is combining performance with practical truck capability.
The Cybertruck addresses this with a maximum towing capacity of up to 11,000 pounds on certain configurations.
Its cargo bed measures approximately 6 feet by 4 feet and provides a useful loading area for equipment, luggage, tools, and recreational gear.
Tesla also lists up to 120.7 cubic feet of total cargo capacity, depending on configuration and measurement method.
The second-row seat cushions can fold upward, creating additional interior storage space when passengers are not using the rear seats.
This makes the Cybertruck more than a lifestyle vehicle. It can function as a genuine work truck while retaining the technology and performance expected from a Tesla.

A Futuristic Interior
Inside, the Cybertruck continues the same philosophy as its exterior: minimalism, technology, and unconventional design.
The dashboard is dominated by an 18.5-inch central touchscreen that serves as the main interface for many vehicle functions. Rear passengers also receive a 9.4-inch touchscreen.
The cabin has a clean, horizontal design with relatively few traditional physical controls. Teslas approach places significant emphasis on the central display and software rather than conventional switches and buttons.
The large glass roof contributes to the sense of openness inside the cabin, while the five-seat layout provides enough space for everyday family use.
One of the most unusual aspects of the Cybertruck is its steering system. Tesla uses steer-by-wire technology, combined with rear-wheel steering, to reduce the amount of steering-wheel movement required during low-speed maneuvers and tight turns.

Built for More Than Asphalt
Despite its futuristic appearance, the Cybertruck was engineered to operate away from paved roads.
Tesla offers dedicated off-road driving modes designed to help the vehicle deal with different surfaces and conditions. Depending on configuration, the truck can adjust its suspension and driving characteristics for situations involving snow, mud, gravel, rocks, and other challenging terrain.
The available air suspension can provide substantial ground clearance. Tesla lists up to 16 inches of clearance in Extract Mode on applicable versions.
The Cybertruck also features a Wade Mode designed to assist the vehicle when driving through water by raising the suspension and pressurizing the battery pack.
Combined with all-wheel drive, specialized tires, substantial ground clearance, and electronically controlled driving modes, these features make the Cybertruck considerably more capable off-road than its unusual appearance might suggest.

Power on the Job Site
Another interesting Cybertruck feature is its ability to function as a mobile source of electrical power.
Depending on configuration, the truck can provide power through outlets in the cabin and cargo bed. Tesla lists two 120-volt outlets in the cabin, two additional 120-volt outlets in the truck bed, and a 240-volt outlet on applicable versions.
The system can deliver up to 9.6 kW of total electric power, allowing owners to operate equipment and tools directly from the vehicle.
The Cybertruck can also provide backup power for a home during an outage when properly equipped. Tesla says the vehicle can supply power to a home for multiple days, depending on household energy consumption and the available energy system.
This capability gives the Cybertruck a practical advantage that goes beyond simply transporting cargo.

Technology at the Center
Technology has always been one of Teslas strongest selling points, and the Cybertruck is no exception.
The truck incorporates Teslas advanced driver-assistance technology, cameras, software-based controls, connected services, and available Full Self-Driving (Supervised).
Tesla describes Full Self-Driving (Supervised) as a suite of advanced driver-assistance features that can provide active driving guidance while requiring the driver to remain attentive and supervise the system.
