Nissan Kicks Gets a Tougher Look with the Rock Creek Edition
Nissan is expanding its Rock Creek lineup to include the Kicks, giving the compact crossover a range of distinctive styling upgrades and additional features aimed at improving its capability on rough terrain.
The Rock Creek package first appeared on the Nissan Pathfinder in 2019 before gradually expanding to several Nissan SUVs. The Kicks now joins the lineup, receiving changes designed to give it a tougher appearance and greater practicality on unpaved roads.
Distinctive Exterior Design
The Kicks Rock Creek receives several exterior upgrades that distinguish it from other versions, including a dedicated front grille featuring the Rock Creek badge and additional Rock Creek branding across the body.
The crossover also comes with unique 17-inch wheels, a roof rack and specially designed daytime running lights, giving it a more rugged appearance than the standard model.
Upgraded Interior Equipment
Inside, the Kicks Rock Creek features contrasting orange stitching throughout the cabin, along with rubber floor mats carrying the Rock Creek branding.
The vehicle also comes with heated seats and a heated steering wheel, adding comfort, particularly in colder weather.
Beyond the Rock Creek-specific touches, the vehicle comes standard with a large 12.3-inch touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay.
A 10-speaker Bose audio system is also standard, while rear automatic braking has been added as an additional safety feature.
All-Wheel Drive and Off-Road Mode
Although many of the upgrades focus on styling, Nissan has also given the Kicks Rock Creek some additional off-road capability compared with the standard model.
The package includes a dedicated off-road driving mode and hill descent control, helping drivers tackle rough terrain and steep descents.
The Kicks Rock Creek is available exclusively with all-wheel drive, further improving its ability to handle unpaved roads and challenging conditions.
Pricing and Availability
The Kicks Rock Creek sits among the higher-end versions of the Kicks lineup and is priced at $30,385.
The Nissan Kicks Rock Creek is scheduled to go on sale in 2027, offering a more rugged alternative in the compact crossover segment while combining sporty styling with additional off-road-oriented capabilities.
